Post-wedding at El Cuartón de Inés Luna

I will always remember Berta and her post-wedding session at El Cuartón de Inés Luna. My first contact with her was years ago, when she wrote me a wonderful email introducing herself (it costs nothing and makes a great impression), telling me how much she liked my philosophy and my way of seeing wedding photography. Although she did not yet know her wedding date, she asked for more information about how I work and my wedding photography services. Sadly, for both of us, sometimes the planets do not align and I could not photograph her in white on her wedding day.

A little over a year later we met in person at a wedding fair. As we talked, we realised we both had the same unfinished business. We had to settle it one way or another—and that is exactly what we did!

Of course, months after her wedding there was little we could do about that day. Even so, and for the first time for me, we decided to do a post-wedding session with a single protagonist. Her.

The session took place at El Cuartón de Inés Luna, where the wedding had originally been held. Berta got ready once again in the same room where she had prepared before walking down the aisle. As you can see, this post-wedding story began right there. It was not only about creating beautiful photographs in her incredible Marta Ferrao dress, but also about giving her photographs of the getting-ready moments. Before long we went out to play in nature, surrounded by holm oaks, cows, a post-apocalyptic sky and the occasional pineapple.
